Oakton Community College, a leader in adult and continuing education in Illinois, collaborates with Maine, Niles, Northfield, and Evanston Township high school districts to form an educational partnership called the Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL). In a typical year, more than 36,000 people register for adult education courses at the College. ETHS offers 34 AP courses in the areas of career and technical education, computer science, English, fine arts, history/social science, math, science, and world languages. Advanced Placement courses are designed by the College Board to help introduce high school students to college-level academics, workload, and expectations.
Essential Information. Adult schools most commonly offer standalone computer courses that are not taken for college credit and are suitable for personal enrichment.
