How to block a hidden number on the Samsung Galaxy A02
It happens that calls come from hidden numbers. The field for caller’s name will display “Unknown”, and blocking by standard means of the phone will not be possible. In this situation, you should try to find an additional feature which may have been added in the current firmware version of the Samsung Galaxy A02:
- Open the device settings.
- Go to the list of applications.
- Select “Calls” or “Phone” (the name of the program may differ depending on the OS version).
- Go to “Anti-spam” and then to “Blocking of calls.
- Set “Block calls from unknown persons” and “Block calls from hidden numbers” radio button to active.
When locking, do not confuse these options. The first one makes inaccessible incoming calls from any subscriber who is not included in the contact list, and the second one. only from hidden numbers.
If you could not find the option in the smartphone settings, then you still should not worry. There are a lot of programs working on the principle of the blacklist, where the option of blocking hidden subscribers is included by default. An example of such a situation is the “Call blocker” application.
