The same app allows you to install your own TTF font (which are abundantly available for download online), but the feature is a fee (minimum 99 cents, one-time fee). The path will be as follows:

  • Launch Theme Galaxy app, open menu (swipe from left side of screen).
  • In the menu under “Advanced,” select “Create your font from.ttf”. The first time you try to use the feature, you’ll be asked to buy it.
  • Specify font name (as it will be displayed in the list in settings), check “Select File.ttf manually” and specify where to store the font file on your phone (you can also stack font files in the themeGalaxy/fonts/custom/ folder and check “Load fonts from custom folders”).
  • Press “Create”. Right after it is created the font will be installed.

How to change the font on Android for individual applications

Changing the text style in the smartphone menu is a useful feature, but it does not satisfy all the needs of the user at once. After all, many people want to change not only the system interface, but also the font in each application individually. So it makes sense to look at how to change the text style in the most popular apps.

How to change the font in VK on the phone

The application of the social network “” is rich in a variety of settings. Among them, they include changing the parameters for displaying text.

To change the settings to your liking, you need to open VK and go to the app settings. Then, you need to select the “Font size” and select the value of interest.

It is easy to guess that other text settings in the VK app are not available. That means you won’t be able to change the style of characters or make them bold.

WhatsApp

Changing the font is also possible in one of the most popular messengers Vocap. Unfortunately, as in the case of VK, only the size of the text is subject to editing. But it’s already a good start for the customization of the application.

Wider editing parameters are available through the standard settings of Samsung. Practice shows that as the style of the text of the system changes, so does the text in WhatsApp.

Instagram

Unfortunately, Instagram settings are also very narrow in terms of changing the text style. However, the user can turn to the help of a special application Font for Instagram.

The owner of a smartphone with an Instagram account will only need to launch the program, adjust the font using the built-in editor, and then apply it to the client of the social network.
