Install two whatsapp on one phone

How to use one WhatsApp account on two devices

Today, many WhatsApp users are wondering how to install WhatsApp on two phones with the same number. Any user who has several smartphones at his disposal will agree that it is inconvenient and impractical to create separate accounts for the messenger on each of them. But is it even possible to use one WhatsApp account (whatsapp) on two phones (devices)? You will get the answer to this question from this article.

The number of users seeking to use WhatsApp on two phones is constantly increasing. There may be several reasons for this. If the battery on one gadget is dead and there is no way to charge it, you can always use the second phone that remains active. Or a person likes to use different models, but wants to be in touch with their loved ones.

Despite the constant improvement of the messenger functionality, the developers have not provided the ability to use one account, tied to a particular SIM card, on two smartphones in turn or simultaneously. First of all, this is due to the privacy rules of the application. Everyone knows that to avoid theft of personal information of its users, WhatsApp does not save correspondence anywhere. All conversations remain in the memory of the device. The list of contacts the application takes from the address book of the phone. That’s why you can’t use one WhatsApp on two gadgets, because if you activate the account on the new device, all the information will still remain on the old one.

But fortunately for everyone, there is a category of people seeking to circumvent the rules. They made it possible to install WhatsApp on two devices with the same number.

How to clone WhatsApp on Android

Many smartphones allow you to run WhatsApp twice

  • In the window that opens, find the WhatsApp application and turn on the duplication function;
  • After that, a second WhatsApp will appear on your desktop, where you can sign in from a different number and use it as an alternative.

Huawei introduced a service to install WhatsApp, Instagram and other banned apps

However, if your smartphone does not support duplicate apps by default, you can use a third-party utility that serves the same purpose. In fact, there are quite a few programs that create a copy of already installed applications and allow you to run them separately from the main one. However, I chose DualSpace because of its simplicity and convenience. It is implemented in a folder format in which you can add clones of all installed applications. That is, it essentially creates a virtual area on your device from which you run copies of third-party or in-house software.

You do not have a smartphone with two SIM cards? No big deal. You can still use two WhatsApp accounts at once. This separation is convenient if you need to communicate frequently for work and personal matters.

Digging around on the Internet, we found another interesting tool. This program is called GBWhatsApp. To use it, you need to run the installer from the APK file. You might not like this option, because using files in this format from unreliable sources has an element of risk. That’s why we think Parallel Space is the best choice.

Since GBWhatsApp is not the official version of the messenger, you can’t download it from the Google Play Store. But you can easily find it on the official website of the app.

Open the “Settings” on your smartphone, and then “About smartphone”. Click 7 times on the line “build number”. you will enable developer mode. Now make sure that the option “Install from unknown sources” is enabled in the settings.

All you need to do is to download the APK file from the official site and run it to install it. Follow the instructions on the screen. After installation, run the app and sign up for WhatsApp using the second phone number.

Remember that you need two different phone numbers to access WhatsApp and GBWhatsApp on the same smartphone at the same time.

If you have root rights on Android, you can try the SwitchMe app, which is available on Google Play. After launching it, you should be prompted for superuser rights. Provide them! In the SwitchMe app, create a new profile with administrator rights. It will be used for the second WhatsApp number.

From the menu, select Create a profile to create a new profile. In the future, select the appropriate account name to switch between different profiles. When your device is rebooted and ready to use again, re-install WhatsApp on the profile you just created. You will also need to use a new phone number when registering.

If the application does not work correctly, you should uninstall it, restart the device and install the program again.

Clone Applications with Lucky Patcher

Download Lucky Patcher. For obvious reasons it is not available on Google Play, so you can download the application from e.g. the 4pda forum or here.

Notice! Do not download apps from sites you cannot trust, as the software code may contain spam, viruses or embedded ads that are not in the official version of the app.

Install the downloaded file by tapping on it. You may need to give permission to install applications from unknown sources. About how to do this, read here.

Launch Lucky Patcher by tapping the shortcut on your desktop or in the application menu.

Tap on “Clone App”. Yes the method does not work with all applications, but with most, including WhatsApp, works without problems.

Check the box next to the first item and click “Rebuild app”.

Wait for the program to create a new installation file. Sometimes this can be quite time consuming. Be patient and try not to burden your smartphone with other tasks.

The installation file for the clone was successfully created. Click “Install clone” to continue.

As you can see, we now have two WhatsApp apps.

The third, fourth or fifth copy of any application can be created in the same way (theoretically, there can be many copies). Nevertheless, it’s important to remember that a new copy must be made by modifying the previous one.

The second way

Some firmware already has the functionality to create dual applications, such as Xiaomi’s MIUI.

Go to the settings and find the menu section “Dual applications”, tap on it.

Find WhatsApp and move the slider to the “On” position.

You see the message “Shortcut added to desktop.

Open the desktop and see a clone of the app. The icon has a slightly different design.
